Our 2016 Exert Syrah delivers on all levels. It’s aromatically appealing displaying the truest qualities of the varietal, backed with floral notes and a touch of smoke that is only apparent when you look for it. The palate delivers a rich, viscous, full-bodied mouthfeel with both sweet and savory characteristics that are soothing and delectable. The finish is carried with intensity and fine grained, almost silky tannin. There’s an intensity on this wine that lifts the finish, creating long evolving flavors that continue lingering after you swallow.

Nose: Floral almost lavender, black olive, cured meat, graphite, sweet tobacco, blueberry, boysenberry

Palate: Plum sauce, black currant, blackberry jam, cream, milk chocolate, and vanilla
